College Recruiting

We recruit college students each fall on campus for spring internships for both our audit and tax departments. We send a team comprised of audit, tax and HR professionals to each campus and basically conduct mini-interviews right there at the fall recruiting events, rather than just collect your resume. We want to talk to you and get to know you a little bit and find out your areas of interest. We then invite you to visit our firm and interview with not only our managers, but also the staff and seniors you will actually work side by side with. We bring in the amount of interns that we hope to extend full-time offers to, so when you intern with Harper & Pearson you know that there are full-time opportunities available upon graduation. We pride ourselves on making our internships different than most, in that we have you doing the same work as staff, and we also pay you as staff! You are not an errand runner, stuck behind a copy machine, or only working on one aspect of an audit or tax engagement. Occasionally we hire a few individuals for summer internships, but we really like for you to experience public accounting at its finest…during our busiest season, so that you get the full experience and scope of what to expect on a daily basis as a full-time audit or tax staff member.
